We welcome you to take part in this unique project, which finds its roots and inspiration in the regional traditions of making decorations out of tissue-paper cut-outs – such folklore handicraft was very popular in the Bieszczady Mountains region in the pre-war period.

Andrzej Kunsz - the owner of the „Bazyl” farm lodge in Bobrka near Solina has been making decorative articles from colored tissue-paper (called ‘krepiny’) for a couple of years now. The tissue-paper handicraft has been associated with Bobrka for a long time. As for „Bazyl’s” owner, it has become for him a way of life. The tissue-paper handicraft gives this household a specific and exeptional character.

Initially the tissue-paper decoration-making workshops were supposed to be an activity for guests visiting on rainy days. They quickly became very popular and more and more often guests came mainly to learn to make these delicate ornaments. Currently, the tissue-paper decoration-making workshops are organized every other day, and for the Green and White Schools we offer everyday workshops. A great influence on the original design of the Bazyl tissue-paper handicraft comes from local nature’s sights and sounds, and to be precise, the passing seasons. The collection featuers a number of patterns: spring – filled with lively spring colors, summer - saturated with the warmth of the summer sun, autumn - colored with the many shades of autumn in the Bieszczady mountains, winter - conveying the severity, as well as the beauty of winter in the Bieszczady Mountains.

1. Workshops with the Master Craftsman of the Artistic Tissue-paper Making, where participants learn the history of this local craft and familiarize themselves with the technique of making flowers from ruffled colored tissue-paper and the basic rules for creating various compositions.

• Workshops at the "Bazyl" art studio:
• 2-hour workshop – 16 PLN per person - in a group of more than 10 people – in case of a group smaller than 10 people, the price is 160 PLN
• course: two 3-hour workshops – 40 PLN per person - in a group of more than 10 people – in case of a group smaller than 10 people, the price is 400 PLN

There is a possibility to provide regular meals / Regular meals can be provided:

• lunch:
  children and teens/youth – 15 PLN per person
  adults – 20 PLN per person
• supper:
  children and teens – 8 PLN per person

Art workshop tours: ·

• 1-day workshop (2 x 3 hours each) – 60 PLN per person – in a group of more than 10 people – in case of a group smaller than 10 people the price is 600 PLN ·
• 2-day workshop (4 x 3 hours each) – 110 PLN per person – in a group of more than 10 people – in case of a group smaller than 10 people the price is 1100 PLN ·
• 3-day workshop (5 x 3 hours each) – 1400 PLN per person – in a group of more than 10 people – in case of a group smaller than 10 people the price is 140 PLN

Attention: The Masters Craftsman travel expenses:

• at a distance of a 100 km from Lesko – the travel is calculated into the price of the workshops
• at a distance of more than a 100 km from Lesko – 1 PLN for every kilometer over this distance

2. Permanent interior decorations (the decoration stays with you) and decorations for rent: restaurants, cafes, conference rooms, family celebrations/festivities (like weddings, first communion celebrations) and all other interior according to the clients expectations.
